Anna Kendrick and John Francis Daley star as a couple dealing with life during the Rapture and the rise of the Anti-Christ (Craig Robinson) in this new comedy from screenwriter Chris Matheson and director Paul Middleditch. Rob Corddry, Ken Jeong, Ana Gasteyer, Tyler Labine, and Stephanie Paul also star. Rapture-Palooza opens in theaters on June 7th.

We now have our first trailer and teaser poster for Riddick, the third entry into the franchise which returns Vin Diesel as the title character who finds himself once again marooned on a nearly barren world fighting off an alien menace. Well, at least they’re looking to remake Pitch Black instead of the incredibly dumb Chronicles of Riddick. Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Noah Danby also star. Apparently not quite good enough for a summer release, Riddick opens in theaters on September 6th.

Variety is reporting Tom Cruise has signed on for Mission: Impossible 5. Although IMDb lists Christopher McQuarrie (who wrote Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) as both writer and director for the project no official announcements have been made for either position (or about any other characters possibly returning for the next installment)

We now have our first look at both the trailer and teaser poster for Ender’s Game based on Orson Scott Card‘s award-winning 1985 sci-fi novel of the same name. Asa Butterfield stars as Ender Wiggin, a young prodigy sent into space to train to become the world’s best hope for survival against an alien race that nearly wiped out all life on Earth. Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Abigail Breslin, Hailee Steinfeld, Moises Arias, Aramis Knight, Jimmy ‘Jax’ Pinchak, Suraj Partha, and Khylin Rhambo also star. The new documentary from Robert Stone looks back at the history of nuclear power and the growing number of environmentalists who once feared it but now champion it as a form of alternative energy. On the red carpet for the premiere of Iron Man 3, The Avengers director Joss Whedon let slip a couple of interesting tidbits concerning the introduction of new characters in The Avengers 2 (a “brother and sister act” presumably referring to Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch) as well as stating that the now completed pilot for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will explain how Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is still part of the Marvel Universe.
