Blood Ties will open in theaters in the United States later this year.

We now have our first trailer and teaser poster for Riddick, the third entry into the franchise which returns Vin Diesel as the title character who finds himself once again marooned on a nearly barren world fighting off an alien menace. Although IMDb lists Christopher McQuarrie (who wrote Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) as both writer and director for the project no official announcements have been made for either position (or about any other characters possibly returning for the next installment)

Deadline is reporting Jack Thorne has been hired to adapt R.J. Palacio’s children’s novel Wonder
