Red Hood and the Outlaws #7

Red Hood and the Outlaws #7 comic reviewJason Todd isn’t know for making the hard choice when an easier path presents itself. At least he wasn’t before the recent Rebirth reboot. Now, things appear to be different. First, the reboot curbed most of his villainous murder history. No it focuses on the man actually thinking through hard decisions and responsibilities rather than shooting first and asking questions later.

As a brief interlude between the first and second arcs of the series, Red Hood and the Outlaws #7 focuses on Red Hood’s internal struggle to deal with a creature of enormous destructive force but limited intelligence. Considering murdering his new friend with a Kryptonite bullet before he is unleashed on the world, Jason is torn with the moral implications of both choices.

Eventually taking the more difficult road of accepting the role as Bizarro‘s guardian (in much the same way Batman chose to do for Jason), Red Hood cements the membership of the new Outlaws but also signs-up for hard days ahead keeping Biazarro in check. Worth a look.
