Poor Eddie Murphy. Guy finally catches a break with his role and nomination with Dreamgirls, and with the release of Norbit a few months later, he is is own downfall. There’s no doubt Murphy still has what it takes to make people laugh (he was maybe the only part of Shrek the Third that worked); but he’s down on his luck. Is his newest vehicle, Meet Dave, a return to form?
