Get Smart, based off the 1960’s television show starring Don Adams and Barbara Feldon, gets the big screen adaptation, and, like so many other shows before it, the results are mixed. Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway both provide some nice moments and Alan Arkin steals nearly every scene in which he appears, but the film never quite lives up to expectations. It works at times, but, as Maxwell Smart would say - it missed it by that much.
