Street Kings
by Alan Rapp
Street Kings is something of a disappointment. Based on a story by James Elroy, the film tells the story of police corruption and one cop’s descent into darkness (well, sort of). Filled with familiar faces, the film, which desperately wants to be more, comes off simply as an okay action flick. If you’ve been jonesing for one here’s your chance, otherwise you might just want to wait and catch it on DVD. |
