  Tropic Thunder

Ben Stiller’s recent box office offerings have been mostly forgettable (Night at the Museum, read the review) and truly awful (The Heartbreak Kid, read that review).  This time out, taking a turn both behind and in front of the camera, Stiller provides one of the year’s funniest films.  It never quite reaches its full potential, but Tropic Thunder gleefully takes a poke at Hollywood providing many laughs which should leave you satisfied.
