After a three-month hiatus Bones returns with Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth’s (David Boreanaz) disagreement over the best location to have their baby and the discovery of the remains of a fugitive in a suburb sewer system.

With the help of sewer robot Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) and Daisy (Carla Gallo) are able to determine the victim didn’t escape, as authorities believed, but instead was killed and disposed of inside the Federal prison. Booth and Brennan take a trip to the prison to investigate and question a friend (Pruitt Taylor Vince) of the victim, and slowly piece together the events that led to his death.

To try and convince Bones to have the baby in a hospital Booth enlists the help of Sweets (John Francis Daley), but, as you might guess, things don’t go exactly as planned. He need not have worried, because true to “Booth’s mythology” the pair find themselves on the road with Bones in labor and no room at the inn.

The manager is a little spot on for a show that doesn’t usually go that tongue-in-cheek, but it’s good to see the show back after the layoff following Deschanel birth of her son. CBS recently renewed the show for another season, so it looks like Booth and Bones are going to have baby duties and murders to solve for at least awhile longer.
