Marshall (Frederick Weller) and Mary’s (Mary McCormack) latest witness is a tricky case. John Arnett (Brady Smith) is a pharmacological salesman, with a loving wife (Sunny Mabrey) and two children, who uncovered the truth of a doctor stealing organs from patients under anesthesia, however he’s also John Wilson with a second wife (Stacey Oristano) and daughter.

Needless to say neither family takes the news well that their bread winner has been spending half his time with another family. In fact a member of one of the two families attempts to contact the doctor John is scheduled to testify against and offers up his location on a silver platter. Mary and Marsahll immediately suspect one of the wifes, but it turns out it’s his teenage daughter (Danika Yarosh), who bolts after the incident, who is responsible.

The episode also includes several ongoing storylines. Given Mary’s impressively high standards and reluctance to hire a nanny Mark (Bryan Callen) calls in his mother (Mimi Kennedy) to help take care of the baby.  Marshall plans an elaborate proposal for Abigail (Rachel Boston). And with equal parts excitement and revulsion, Mary discovers Stan’s (Paul Ben-Victor) new relationship with his dancing instructor (Tia Carrere).

A solid episode, even if took Mary and Marshall a little too longer to figure out who was responsible for the phone call. Marshall’s engagement should shake-up Mary’s life a little more, and with the return of Raphael (Cristián de la Fuente) next week things should get very interesting.
