Leverage - The 15 Minutes Job

After a somewhat shaky attempt at a whodunit things get back to normal this week as the Leverage team puts their sites on a shady crisis PR man (Michael Gladis) known for ruining careers, including that of one of Nate’s (Timothy Hutton) oldest friends (Jim Iorio).

The early attempts to drag the shadowy figure into the spotlight don’t turn out so well, but eventually the team turns the villain into a public hero before eloquently using his past to destroy his credibility and send him to jail.

The episode includes several fun moments including the trademark switch at the end of the con, several early failed attempts to turn their mark into a hero including Elliot’s (Christian Kane) bungled purse snatch, and a humorous conversation between Haridson (Aldis Hodge) and Parker (Beth Riesgraf) about CGI Yoda.

The episode also moves forward this season’s arc introduced in the Fourth Season premiere as the man behind bugging the Leverage offices makes his first appearance (Leon Rippy) with a cryptic phone call to Nate (Timothy Hutton).
