Once Upon a Time - Murder Most Foul TV review

While “Murder Most Foul” focuses on Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) being the noble one and preventing an obsessed David (Josh Dallas) from taking revenge on the man responsible for his father’s death, the episode ends on a twist which just may undo all the good the pirate has done since meeting Emma (Jennifer Morrison). Hook may have one won the blessing of his girlfriend’s father, but what happens if either of them learn his secret?

The other half of the episode focuses on the new Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) who, it turns out, doesn’t fit into the original’s shoes all that well. More knave than hero, Robin nearly kills the Sheriff of Nottingham (Wil Traval). The lack of a spark between Robin and Regina (Lana Parrilla) also suggests its unlikely he will grow into the man who was her lost love. If that’s the case, then what role does Robin have to play over the remainder of the season?
