Pretty Little Liars - Wanted: Dead or Alive

“Wanted: Dead or Alive” is one of those episodes were you can see the Liars being manipulated and outsmarted by their adversary but they walk right into the new A‘s trap anyway. With a series of phone calls and an attack on Alison (Sasha Pieterse) by a masked individual, A.D. gaslight’s Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) into digging up the grave of Elliot Rollins (Huw Collins) to convince themselves that the man is actually dead. By the end of the episode A.D. has all the video evidence he/she needs to destroy the Liars once and for all.

While seemingly stuck back in relationship limbo, Emily (Shay Mitchell) does make an important discovery that Sara Harvey (Dre Davis) is afraid of someone, and it isn’t Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok). His sudden return last episode, followed by Sara’s unfortunate end here, seems to point to Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) being the most obvious choice for the person who attacked Alison and the other person behind the new A.

After failing to give Ezra (Ian Harding) an answer to his proposal, Aria (Lucy Hale) gets some much-needed advice from Hanna about not throwing away her relationship over fear of what A might do. Coming clean with Ezra about what happened doesn’t derail his proposal, but the show has already given us a phone call that just might do the trick sometime closer to the pair’s wedding. And Caleb‘s (Tyler Blackburn) return puts a final nail in the coffin of his relationship with Spencer, but what does it hold for Hanna?
