As Sheldon (Jim Parsons) shares his love of flags and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) spends far too much time alone with his new phone, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) attempt to work the kinks out of the relationship now that the pair are dating again.

Penny and Leonard decide to take their relationship slow which, unintentionally, is helped by them each getting angry after they decide to treat their relationship like a piece of software and work out the bugs each one notices in the other. This leads not only to a fight but turns one of the characters into a gunshot victim.

With the help of Amy (Mayim Bialik) Sheldon begins a new video podcast to share his love of flags with the rest of the world. The project turns out to be much more time consuming than the scientist initially planned. It’s wacky to be sure, but the sequences aren’t overdone and fits both characters.

The other story involves Raj treating the female voice on his new smart phone as an actual girlfriend. This gives us the return of Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie) and Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) running for the hills as they see to what extent Raj has built up the relationship.
