For an episode centering around the group gathering together to watch Game of Thrones “The Viewing Party Combustion” has little to do with the HBO series. The viewing party is basically just an excuse to gather the group together as small fights, beginning with Leonard‘s (Johnny Galecki) railing at Sheldon (Jim Parsons) for another stipulation in the roommate agreement, break them into two separate factions.
Other disagreements include Howard (Simon Helberg) getting fed up with Raj‘s (Kunal Nayyar) humble bragging about dating two women at the same time, Sheldon getting miffed that Amy (Mayim Bialik) chooses to take Leonard’s side, Stuart (Kevin Sussman) getting taken advantage of by Howard, and Leonard and Howard discovering how their wives manipulate them and their friends to get their way. Although they flare up quickly, none of the fights turn out to have any lasting friction as the group is brought back together by the end of the episode.
