Comic Movie News *UPDATED*

Director Lexi Alexander announced three new castings on her official blog for 2008’s Punisher: War ZoneColin Salmon (Bad Girls, Hex, AVP: Alien vs. Predator) will play Agent Paul Budlansky, Doug Hutchinson (The Green Mile, Con Air) will play Loony Bin Jim, and Dash Mihok (Firehouse Dog, Hollywoodland) will play Detective Martin Soap. 

UPDATE – Just announced, T.J. Storm (BloodRayne, Vagabond) will play Magnity, Wayne Knight (Seinfeld‘s Newman) will play Microchip, and Dominic West (300, Rock Star, 28 Days) will play Jigsaw!  You’ll know more when we do!

Comic Rack

Hmm, we’re about to talk about comics so it must be Wednesday!  Welcome to the RazorFine Comic Rack boys and girls.  Pull up a bean bag and take a seat at the master as we look at the new comics set to hit comic shops and bookstores today from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, WildStorm, Vertigo, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW Publishing, and Image Comics.

This Week in Independent Film

Inspired by Peter Landesman’s article “The Girls Nex Door” the story examines the world of sex traffickers through the eyes of the criminals, the victims, and those left behind searching for answers.  Kevin Kline, Kathleen Gati, Paulina Gaitan, Cesar Ramos, Zack Ward, Alcja Bachleda-Curus, and Kate del Castillo star.  We’ve seen it and we’ll have the review when the film opens in theaters everywhere on Friday.  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.
