When Gus (Dulé Hill) falls for a witness (Diora Baird) to a murder Shawn (James Roday) and his love struck partner find themselves hiding out in the woman’s cult while trying to piece together what’s really go on (other than the fact Gus has fallen for what by all accounts looks to be yet another crazy woman).

Glee – Hold on to Sixteen

With Sectinals looming and Rachel (Lea Michele) barred from competing, she and Finn (Cory Monteith) take a trip across the border into Kentucky (which includes an odd stripper sequence and an guest-appearance by John Schneider) in an attempt to recruit Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) to return. Frankly, I could have done without his performance of Toby Keith‘s “Red Solo Cup,” but there are some nice moments where Sam reconnects with his old teammates.

Claire Coffee shows off her place

Claire CoffeeYou might recognize Claire Coffee for roles in Franklin & Bash, General Hospital and guest-appearances on Psych, The West Wing, and Bones. The star of the CW’s Grimm allowed Esquire into her home for part of their Me in My Place series which provides “intimate moments with beautiful women in their own homes, in their own clothes, and at their invitation.” Along with the pics (which you’ll find after the jump along with a short video) the actress discusses being a 49er fan, acting, her dislike of fantasy football and snuggling, lingerie, her new show, the books she’s reading and her love of Philip K. Dick.

Super Dinosaur #6

super-dinosaur-6-coverAfter a short break Super Dinosaur returns as Derek Dynamo and Super Dinosaur take on the evil Squidious who attempts to stop the pair from blowing up the underwater tunnels to Inner-Earth.

After a battle on both land and sea Derek and SD return home where Super Dinosaur begins to lament the amount of time Derek is spending with Erin (even going so far as to create the girl her own version of Wheels), but he may have found a new playmate for himself in Erin’s sister.

Although the battle with Squidious provided quite a few pages of fun, I did want a little more out of the exchange between Doctor Dynamo and Max Maximus which really only rehashes the cliffhanger introduced in the last issue concerning the fate of the Doctor’s wife (and Derek’s mother).

It’s a solid issue. Even if almost all of the crazy insanity takes place in the story’s first-half, the remaining pages deal with important relationships and subtle changes at the Dynamo Dome. Worth a look.
