The Lying Game - To Lie For

In the finale of the show’s shortened Second Season, the discovery of Theresa’s (Yara Martinez) body in the Mercer’s pool sends Dan (Tyler Christopher) even further over the edge which forces Alec (Adrian Pasdar) to reveal part of the twins’ secret. Realizing his little brother has been lying to him for months, Dan gives Ethan (Blair Redford) an ultimatum to choose either his family or the twins.In the wake of the murder Thayer (Christian Alexander) confronts Emma (Alexandra Chando) about her unresolved feelings for Ethan and offers her an ultimatum of his own, but given Ethan’s decision, and his brother’srecent tragedy, Emma’s choice of Ethan over Thayer comes far too late.

With the permission of Warner Bros., show creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell are looking for fan support to help pull off a Veronica Mars movie just in time for Ms. Mars 10th high school reunion. If the $2,000,000 goal is reached Thomas plans to go into production as soon as schedule conflicts allow and have the movie available for release by summer of next year. Pretty Little Liars - I'm Your Puppet

With Spencer (Troian Bellisario) psychiatric’s hold finally complete Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) head to Radley to talk with their friend for the first time since her meltdown in the woods. Despite delivering the news that the police found a body in the woods which isn’t Toby (Keegan Allen), the Liars are unable to convince Spencer, who looks far too at home in the mental institution for their liking, that she might be mistaken about what she saw that night that earned her the one-way trip to the looney bin. While stuck in the asylum Spencer learns more about Alison (Sasha Pieterse) hiding her own secrets in the days leading up to her death while continuing to investigate and retrace Mona‘s (Janel Parrish) steps during her time in Radley.

Worlds' Finest #10After the attack on her island by members of Holt Industries last month, Power Girl decides to give her former boyfriend a little payback using her powers to create natural disasters around his most valuable facilities including even causing a small earthquake which accidentally gets a little out of hand.

As Power Girl cleans up the mess she started from spreading any further, the Huntress does some digging on her own and finds out that Michael Holt is Mr. Terrific. The celebration of the successful mission will have to be put on hold as the Huntress learns of Damian‘s death and barely gets away before Batman finds her crying at Robin’s grave.

After missing for several months Kevin Maguire is back, and for the first time in the series’ near year-long run he’s the only artist on display giving the comic a much more cohesive look than usual. I like the idea of Power Girl being far more hot-headed and mischievous in using her powers than either Superman or Supergirl while pointing out what the ramifications of that would look like. The scenes with Huntress grieving over Damian are also handled with care. Worth a look.
