Franklin & Bash - The Curse of Hor-Aha

Kicking off the show’s Fourth Season, Franklin & Bash returns with some notable absences. With Rachel (Heather Locklear) moving on to greener pastures and Infeld (Malcolm McDowell) facing serious charges, control of the firm has fallen on the shoulders of Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). It seems the inmates are in fact now running the asylum. Along with Locklear’s exit, the premiere is also missing series regulars Dana Davis and Kumail Nanjiani as the Peter and Jared’s go-to investigator Carmen and hypochondriac helper Pindar who have both, apparently, left the show with big holes to fill.

Although the pair get the charges dismissed, Pindar lands in even hotter water when evidence from his computer (used to prove he wasn’t spying on Rob Lowe) is used to reopen the insurance investigation into Jared and Peter’s old home which the insurance agent (Jay Chandrasekhar) now believes may have been caused by Pindar’s magic trick.

Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) work the baseball diamond when the owner (Andy Umberger) of the local minor league team hires the pair to deal with an obnoxious heckler (Lance Barber) who is getting under the skin of the team’s star closer (Aaron Hill). To convince a judge that heckling is worth of an injunction the pair enlist the help of Infeld (Malcolm McDowell) for a little courtroom theater. When that fails, Carmen (Dana Davis) begins to dig into how the unemployed stand-up comic manages to pay for basic necessities, baseball tickets, and a brand new RV (bought with cash).
