“Return of the Kyber Saber” concludes the show’s season long arc involving the search for the Kyber Saber Crystals. With Naare (Grey Griffin) in control of the reconstituted Kyber Saber and on her way to Courscant to take over the Empire, the Freemakers make one last-ditch effort to get the powerful artifact and keep it out of the hands of the Sith. The finale offers Palpatine (Trevor Devall) on the run from the bloodthirsty Naare and Rowan (Nicolas Cantu) continuing to surprise with his growing Force abilities. With the quest complete the episode teases possible new adventures for the Rowan, Zander (Eugene Byrd), and Kordi (Vanessa Lengies) should the show be renewed for a second season.

Despite the best intentions, Rowan‘s (Nicolas Cantu) plan to leave his family and hide the final Kyber Saber Crystal backfires when Naare (Grey Griffin) and Graballa (Dana Snyder) show up on the Wheel and target Zander (Eugene Byrd) and Kordi (Vanessa Lengies) for information. Not even R0-GR (Matthew Wood) and his first-hand knowledge of Jedi fighting techniques can prepare Rowan to make a proper rescue. The episode ends with Naare and the Empire one-step closer to reclaiming the last crystal and the Freemakers in need of a miracle.

Taking a break from their search for the Kyber Crystals, and following the advice from Maz Kanata (Grey Griffin), the Freemakers head to the barren junk planet of Zoh in search of the Maker who turns out to Jek-14 (Brian Dobson). Although the former Sith clone is welcoming to the group, his robots aren’t too happy with the Freemakers’ arrival. Afraid they will convince the Maker to leave, the bots decide take care of the trespassers… permanently.
