Longmire - War Eagle

While continuing to investigate Nighthorse’s (A Martinez) possible involvement in Branch‘s (Bailey Chase) death, Walt (Robert Taylor), Vic (Katee Sackhoff) and Ferg (Adam Bartley) look into the murder of a local history buff who obsessed with reopening a WWII Japanese Internment Camp as a national monument. The investigation in the CB enthusiast and history buff’s life yields an unexpected family connection and eventually the man’s murderer (Michelle Krusiec). It also leads to a revelation about Ferg who makes several leads in the case thanks to his familiarity with short-range radio.

Longmire - Down by the River

The Fourth Season of Longmire, and the show’s first season on Netflix, begins with the death of a major supporting character when Walt (Robert Taylor) discovers Branch (Bailey Chase) dead of an apparent suicide. Already twisted up in knots about his strong beliefs that Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez) was the man ultimately responsible for the murder of the Sheriff’s wife, Longmire begins to suspect that Branch’s suicide may have been staged for the sole purpose of Nighthorse hiding secrets the former deputy may have unearthed shortly before his death.

Longmire - Ashes to Ashes

The second death of David Ridges (David Midthunder) brings all sorts of new facts to light in Longmire‘s Third Season finale. Ending Branch‘s (Bailey Chase) obsession, and his job with the sheriff’s department, the deputy chooses to take his father (Gerald McRaney) up on a job in the family business in order to get a better look at his father’s connection to Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez). The season may end with Nighthorse still free, but it also ends with the identity of the killer behind the deaths of both Walt‘s (Robert Taylor) wife and Miller Beck revealed (although the person responsible for uncovering the truth may not make it to next season’s premiere).

David Ridges (David Midthunder) plays one mind game too many on Branch (Bailey Chase) which leads to Walt (Robert Taylor) temporary locking up his unstable deputy but also to find proof not only that Ridges is alive but that he has been toying with Branch since the shooting with the support of Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez). After arresting Nighthorse, who fills in the missing pieces to the story of Ridges resurrection and plan to count coup on his enemy, Walt learns Branch’s life is still in great danger.

Longmire - Harvest

When a prison road gang discovers part of a dead body Walt (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff) head out into the field despite the trouble night’s events and the lasting effects of a grazed bullet wound and concussion. The victim’s widow (Jennifer Parsons) and daughter (Mandy Brown) point the sheriff in the direction at the owner of the land (Larry Clarke) who had been trying to slowly force the family into bankruptcy and when that failed, they believe, he finally took a more permanent approach to the situation.
