The Crazy Ones - The Lighthouse

The First Season finale pits partner against partner when Gordon (Brad Garrett) finalizes a deal to sell the company to foreign investors for $47 million. With Simon (Robin Williams) unwilling to give up creative control of the business he founded, Gordon calls for a vote of the board of directors which brings Simon’s ex-wife (Marilu Henner), and Sydney‘s (Sarah Michelle Gellar) mother, back to town.

While Sydney (Sarah Michelle Gellar) dates a neighbor who everyone but her realizes is gay and Zach (James Wolk), while also unknowingly spends time with a single gay man with the hots for him, becomes increasingly jealous with all the time Andrew (Hamish Linklater) is spending with Allie (Tiya Sircar) instead of him, Simon (Robin Williams) rallies the troops for a pro bono assignment to save a small town library in Illinois from closing.

The Crazy Ones - Love Sucks

Featuring an appearance from Robin Williams‘ old Mork & Mindy co-star Pam Dawber as Simon‘s new love interest, the latest episode of The Crazy Ones deals with the highs and lows as love as Simon also tries to help Gordon (Brad Garrett) who is despondent after his husband abandons him for not being spontaneous and too stuck in his anti-social ways. It all ends it wacky (and somewhat unfortunate) karaoke sequence that’s better of forgotten for Gordon and Simon getting a door slammed in his face (despite the attempted assistance of David Copperfield).

The Crazy Ones - Danny Chase Hates Brad Paisley

After Zach (James Wolk) over-promises a regional barbecue sauce maker the perfect campaign to promote their “Satan’s Tongue BBQ Sauce,” both he and Simon (Robin Williams) are forced to work overtime to try and deliver. After finally convincing Danny Chase (Josh Groban) to write the jingle things get no easier when he refuses to work for the client’s choice of performer (Brad Paisley) who Danny believes owes him an apology for a slight the country music singer doesn’t even remember.

Hoping to land a potential lucrative new client (Cheryl Hines) in control of a brand of crappy motels, Simon (Robin Williams) coaxes Zach (James Wolk) out of retirement from his former job as a Bar Mitvah DJ to throw the client’s son (Skyler James Sandak) a party he won’t soon forget. However, when the only woman (Jackie Seiden) who ever broke Zach’s heart shows up working the same party things begin to get out-of-control.
