Star Wars Rebels - The Lost Commanders

With the Rebels on the run and in need of new allies Ahsoka (Ashley Eckstein) sends the crew of the Ghost to look for an old ally of hers who she refers to as a great military mind with firsthand knowledge of the Outer Rim. Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is skeptical of their mission, especially when it turns out Ahsoka’s friend, and his associates, are all clones. With the introduction of Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) Star Wars Rebels continues to build on the history of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and deal with the fallout of Star Wars: Episode III – The Revenge of the Sith and the fall of the Jedi.

Kanan’s distrust of the former Clone Troopers turns out to be justified not only because they nearly get Zeb (Steven Blum) killed while using the Lasat as bait to hunt a Joopa (a giant underground worm whose meat will feed the clones for months), one of Rex’s men does indeed betray the group to the Empire. The ensuing skirmish, and destroyed Imperial Probe Droid leaves the Rebels temporarily stranded on barren moon with the clones knowing the Empire is surely on its way. The cliffhanger suggests things are about to get very interesting for the Rebels.
