Scooby Saturday takes us back to another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. Stopping at the Meldon Archeological Science Laboratory, Mystery, Inc. meets scientist Dr. Blum (Nolan North) who explains an artifact known as the Ogdimora has released a malevolent force that can take ahold of any inantimate object, bringing it to life. When the force takes control of the Mystery Machine, the gang goes on the run.

The episode is mostly the gang running from their favorite car, with Daphne (Grey DeLisle) half-believing this has to be a dream while Fred (Frank Welker) sees it as his worst nightmare. Despite the outrageous nature of the episode, all events are explained by the end of the episode as the gang reclaims the Mystery Machine and catches the person responsible for all the lab’s trouble.

The episode allows for Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! to show off a variety of enhancements Fred has made to the Mystery Machine (making it all the more dangerous when turned against them). Given his meltdown, and her running dream gag, Fred and Daphe get a bigger part to play than Velma (Kate Micucci), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) or Scooby-Doo (Welker), but the unusual setup of the episode makes it all work.
