It’s almost like making a $100,000,000 movie based on a half-forgotten series of trading cards was a bad idea. Tim Burton‘s 1996 adaptation of the early 60s trading card series offers ten minutes or so of really great visuals recreating classic scenes from the series chronicling Earth being invaded by Martians. The trouble is, those 10 minutes are spread out over the film’s 106-minute runtime.

Much like Clarice, Furious is set around a promising agent of the FBI with past trauma whose career is being hampered by the number of less qualified men in her way preventing her from catching a serial killer. Our killer in Furious, who we see kill one victim before moving on to the next, is played by Lola Petticrew (who the show loves playing off her diminuitive 5’1″ size). And for our dedicated agent we get Emmy Rossum as former NYPD Homicide Detective and now FBI newbie Alice Black.

As a way to celebrate the character’s 60 years in comics, Marvel releases this one-shot featuring three separate tales and what they are referring to as “an epilogue,” each centered around different periods in Mary Jane‘s life. Notably, all stories take place after being married to Peter Parker and none really capture the version of Mary Jane Watson represented in her first appearance 60 years ago.

Scooby Sunday takes us back to another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. While visiting an ice hotel owned by Daphne‘s (Grey DeLisle) family, the gang looks into a mystery of a thawed Ice Man escaping from the exhibit and causing havoc in the hotel. As Daphne deals with her own secret mission, and Velma (Kate Micucci) fights her fear and hatred of water (frozen or otherwise), eventually the gang will come together and catch the Ice Man.
