Here’s our first look at the very Matrix-like new project from The Wachowskis starring Mila Kunis as an ordinary woman, and the potential savior of mankind, targeted for death by the Queen of the Universe. Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Vanessa Kirby, and Tuppence Middleton also star. Jupiter Ascending is scheduled to open in theaters on July 25th.
Here’s a little tease for the upcoming Third Series of the BBC’s Sherlock which will begin with a mini-episode on Christmas Day before the show’s official return in England on New Year’s Day with “The Empty Hearse” (which will premiere on PBS in the United States three weeks later).
We now have our first (dark and murky) trailer for the latest American attempt at a Godzilla movie (although this time without Matthew Broderick). Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Victor Rasuk, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, and Sally Hawkins also star. Godzilla opens in theaters on May 16th.
Marvel.com has confirmed that Drew Goddard (The Cabin in the Woods, BtVS Season Eight: Wolves at the Gate) has signed on to be the showrunner for Netflix’s 13-episode Daredevil series. Goddard will also write and direct the first episode which is set to premiere sometime in 2015
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that DC has found its Wonder Woman. Actress, and former Miss Isreal, Gal Gadot (best known for her role as Gisele in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6) has been cast for the role in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck
Variety is reporting that production on Fast & Furious 7 has been halted following Paul Walker‘s death to “assess all options available to move forward with the franchise”
