Based on the novel of the same name by Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower stars Logan Lerman as a shy, awkward, and unpopular freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors (Emma Watson, Ezra Miller) who open him up to the world. Paul Rudd, Nina Dobrev, Dylan McDermott, Melanie Lynskey, and Kate Walsh also star. The film opens in theaters on September 21st.
Okay, it may sound more than a little like Taken, but I’m willing to give anything starring Alexander Siddig a chance. Written and directed by Rubba Nada, a former spy (Siddig), whose daughter goes missing in Syria, is forced to return to Damascus and begin a search. Joshua Jackson, Marisa Tomei, and Oded Fehr also star. Inescapable opens in Canada in September but, as yet, has no scheduled theatrical release in the United States.

Deadfall stars Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde as a brother and sister trying to reach the Canadian border after robbing a casino. Charlie Hunnam, Sissy Spacek, Kris Kristofferson, Treat Williams, and Kate Mara also star. The film opens in limited release in select cities on December 7th.
Variety is reporting Warner Bros. is interested in hiring Ben Affleck to direct the long-delayed Justice League. Knowing Affleck only directs movies in which he also stars I’m hoping WB will cast him as the film’s villain – Moonraper
