In the latest from director Uwe Boll, a laid-off loser (Zack Ward) and his cult leader of an uncle (Dave Foley) decide to rob their local amusement park, the same park the Taliban has plans for as well.  Chris Coppola, Jackie Tohn, Michaela Mann, and Verne Troyer (Mini-Me) also star in this video game adaptation.  Check out the official site.  The film opens wide on Friday.  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.

This Week in Foreign Film

From director Ang Lee comes this WWII tale of a young woman (Wei Tang) who becomes swept up in an affair with a powerful politician (Tony Leung Chiu Wai).  Lee-Hom Wang and Chih-ying Chu also star.  The film, presented in Mandarin with Enlish subtitles, was given an NC-17 by the MPAA, so expect only to find it in art houses in select cities when it opens this Friday.  Larger version of the trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.
