One of my favorite games for the SNES was The Adventures of Batman & Robin. Now that may be too high a standard to hold the new game based on the current Batman: The Brave and the Bold cartoon up to, but this one appears (:54) to have one thing the other was missing – CATMAN!!!! I may need to borrow someone’s Wii for a couple of days.

The game play isn’t much to talk about (your basic punch, kick, ‘n jump side-scroller), but I do like how the art of the Batman: Brave and the Bold TV-show is used here. If it only included more characters from the show!

As part of Bat-Week here’s the trailer for the upcoming LEGO Batman: The Video Game due out in September from Traveller’s Tales (who created both the LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Indiana Jones games). After beating a level as Batman or Robin (and Nightwing!) you will unlock the ability to play the same level as the villain.
