Here is Paul McCartney’s appearance on Saturday Night Live from this past weekend performing “Cut Me Some Slack” with Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic. Here is “Scream & Shout,” the third single released from will.i.am’s 2012 collaborative album #willpower. Both the electropop/dance track and video feature Britney Spears, a heavy use of auto-tune on the vocals, and the recurring lyric “Britney bitch.” Directed by Ben Mor the video has received mixed reviews for its style that includes visibly impressive shots but no clear narrative. The song is definitely catchy enough to be a club hit but not memorable enough to stay with you after leaving said club. I’m more impressed with the sleek look of the video that (somewhat) manages to recapture Spears’ long-dormant sex-appeal.
