Here’s a full-length trailer for writer/director Lars von Trier‘s story of middle aged woman (Charlotte Gainsbourg) recounting the sexual exploits of her younger self (Stacy Martin) to a complete stranger (Stellan Skarsgård) who helps her after a savage beating. Shia LaBeouf, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, and Willem Dafoe also star. Released in Denmark as a single film, Nymphomaniac will be split into two volumes for its U.S. release. Nymphomaniac: Volume I will open in limited release in select cities on March 21st. Volume 2 will be released a month later.

Based on the novel The Double by José Saramago, Jake Gyllenhaal stars as a man who begins a bizarre journey for answers after discovering the existence of an actor who looks and sounds just like him. Mélanie Laurent, Sarah Gadon, and Isabella Rossellini also star. Enemy opens in limited release in select cities on March 14th.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that screenwriters Robert Ben Garant and Thomas Lennon have signed-on to write the script for an adaptation of the Choose Your Own Adventure Books (which seems odd as the entire franchise is built around the reader, not the writer, choosing how the story ends by making several choices over the course of the story)

The Wrap is reporting Felicity Jones is in talks to star in Rosaline, a comedic retelling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, based on Rebecca Serle’s novel, from her character’s perspective

Given the disappointment of both Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror, Mirror I have some doubt about yet another attempt at a live-action version of one of Disney’s most respected films. Although the trailer doesn’t really answer whether or not a version of Sleeping Beauty from Maleficent‘s (Angelina Jolie) point of view can work, I’m certainly impressed with the design and look of the film in the glimpse we get with this “Dream” teaser trailer (and the teaser poster ain’t half bad, either). Opening in theaters on July 29th, the film also stars Elle Fanning, Juno Temple, Sharlto Copley, Peter Capaldi, and Brenton Thwaites.
