Here’s our first look at the very Matrix-like new project from The Wachowskis starring Mila Kunis as an ordinary woman, and the potential savior of mankind, targeted for death by the Queen of the Universe. Channing Tatum, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Vanessa Kirby, and Tuppence Middleton also star. Jupiter Ascending is scheduled to open in theaters on July 25th.
We now have our first (dark and murky) trailer for the latest American attempt at a Godzilla movie (although this time without Matthew Broderick). Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Victor Rasuk, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, and Sally Hawkins also star. Godzilla opens in theaters on May 16th.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that DC has found its Wonder Woman. Actress, and former Miss Isreal, Gal Gadot (best known for her role as Gisele in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6) has been cast for the role in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck
Variety is reporting that production on Fast & Furious 7 has been halted following Paul Walker‘s death to “assess all options available to move forward with the franchise”
Hoping to be the next teen series to make a successful leap to the big screen, we now have our first trailer for Divergent based on the novel of the same name by Veronica Roth. Set in a dystopian future where the populace is divided into separate factions each meant to uphold a specific virtue of humanity, Shailene Woodley stars as young woman who bucks the status quo. Theo James, Kate Winslet, Zoë Kravitz, Ray Stevenson, Tony Goldwyn, Ashley Judd, Mekhi Phifer, and Maggie Q also star. Divergent opens in theaters on March 21st.
We now have our first full-length trailer for Muppets Most Wanted which finds Kermit replaced with an evil doppelganger who uses the Muppets European tour as cover for a planned jewel heist. The sequel stars the Muppets, Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey, Ty Burrell, Danny Trejo, Debby Ryan, Lady Gaga, Zach Galifianakis, Christoph Waltz, and Salma Hayek. Muppets Most Wanted opens in theaters on March 21st.
