Nicolas Cage stars as a felon who “broke out of Hell to make things right” by chasing down all the members of the cult who murdered his daughter before they sacrifice his granddaughter during the next full moon. (I swear I’m not making this up. This is a real movie!) Amber HeardKaty Mixon, William Fichtner, David Morse, and Pruitt Taylor Vince also star. Drive Angry 3D (from the director of White Noise 2: The Light and the writer of Jason X) is set to hit theaters next February.

Seems Warner Bros. is raising the stakes with the final Harry Potter book, broken into two films, or at least that’s what their marketing department would have you believe. Trumpeting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I as “The Motion Picture Event of a Generation” may be just a wee bit much, but I’ll let you watch for yourselves. Harry’s final journey begins on November 19th with Part I’s release. Part II is set to follow next summer.

Will Eisner‘s iconic comic hero (Gabriel Macht) who returns from the dead to fight crime in Central City hits the big screen thanks to longtime pal Frank MillerScarlett Johansson, Samuel L. This Week in Film

Director Ron Howard gives us a new film based on the true events of David Frost’s (Michael Sheen) post-Watergate interviews with former President Richard Nixon (Frank Langella).  Sam Rockwell, Oliver Platt, Kevin Bacon, Toby Jones, Matthew Macfayden, and Rebecca Hall also star.  Check out the official site.  After weeks in limited release the film opens wide on Christmas day, and we’ll have the review!  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.
