A British dock worker (Jim Sturgess) comes to America to search for his father and falls for a girl named Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood) in this 1960’s Beattles themed film from writer/director Julie TraymorJoe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, T.V. They’re remaking Charles Groden films now?  When his wife (Malin Akerman) becomes a different person after marriage Eddie Cantrow (Ben Stiller) begins to doubt his decision, especially after he runs into the girl of his dreams (Michelle Monaghan).  Jerry Stiller, Carlos Mencia, and Rob Coddry also star.  Remade from the original which starred Groden, Jeannie Berlin, and Cybill Shepherd and was penned by Neil Simon.  The question becomes is their any wit left or is it Stiller’s usual awkward physical comic moments?  Check out the official site.  The film opens everywhere on Friday.  Larger trailer available in the Full Diagnosis.
