We now have our first trailer for next summer’s Avengers: Age of Ultron featuring the Avengers coming back together to deal with the new threat of the robotic villain Ultron (James Spader). Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Cobie Smulders all return. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Paul Bettany also star. The movie opens in theaters on May 1st.

The new trailer for Big Hero 6 offers a closer look at the relationship between Hiro (Ryan Potter) and the inflatable robot built by his older brother. Based on the comic of the same name, the cast also includes Josh Hutcherson, Freddie Highmore, Jamie Chung, T.J. Miller, Samuel L. Jackson, and Maya Rudolph. The film opens in theaters on November 7th.
Disney’s new animated series Star Wars Rebels is set to premiere on October 3rd with a two-part movie before officially beginning it’s First Season run on October 13th. Set five years before the original Star Wars (no, I’m not going to refer to it as “A New Hope”), the series centers around a group of rebels including a former Jedi (Freddie Prinze Jr.), a teenage con artist (Taylor Gray), the ship’s muscle (Steve Blum) and pilot (Vanessa Marshall), an explosives expert (Tiya Sircar), and an astromech droid.
ComingSoon.net and Machinima are reporting that DC has a new Justice League animated series planned to coincide with the theatrical release of Justice League: Gods and Monsters. Although I’m not excited for the new series adopting the darker tone of the recent DC movies, the news that Bruce Timm and Alan Burnett will produce the series certainly makes me feel better about the chances of the show than the upcoming film.
