Given the disappointment of both Snow White and the Huntsman and Mirror, Mirror I have some doubt about yet another attempt at a live-action version of one of Disney’s most respected films. Although the trailer doesn’t really answer whether or not a version of Sleeping Beauty from Maleficent‘s (Angelina Jolie) point of view can work, I’m certainly impressed with the design and look of the film in the glimpse we get with this “Dream” teaser trailer (and the teaser poster ain’t half bad, either). Opening in theaters on July 29th, the film also stars Elle Fanning, Juno Temple, Sharlto Copley, Peter Capaldi, and Brenton Thwaites.

Emma Roberts stars as a recent college graduate and aspiring poet who takes a job at a local adult book store to make ends meet. John Cusack, Armando Riesco, Shannon Woodward, and Chris Riggi also star. After premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival last year, Adult World opens in select cities in limited release on February 14th.

Following up on Captain Phillips‘ return to the big screen on Wednesday, fellow Oscar hopefuls Gravity and 12 Years a Slave are also getting re-releases in theaters beginning today. Click on the posters to read the reviews.
