The first trailer for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special “The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe” has been released. From BBC: “Evacuated to a house in Dorset from war-torn London, Madge Arwell (Claire Skinner) and her two children, Lily (Holly Earl) and Cyril (Maurice Cole), are greeted by a madcap caretaker whose mysterious Christmas gift leads them into a magical wintry world.” Bill Bailey, Arabella Weir, Alexander Armstrong and (of course) Matt Smith will also appear. Take a look and tell us what you think!

Check out this clip (courtesy of CBR) from the opening episode of Green Lantern: The Animated Series which premieres this Friday on Cartoon Network. The cartoon centers around the adventures of Earth’s greatest Green Lantern Hal Jordan (Josh Keaton) and the Green Lantern Corps. I’m still wary of CGI look to the series but I have to say I’m impressed that it looks like they’ve allowed Hal to stay the cocky S.O.B. we’ve come to love over the years.

The Muppets take over Monday Night Raw

In case you missed it, Here’s the video of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy (and a few of their friends) from this past Monday’s episode of the WWE Raw. The Muppets were the special guests of the wrestling program to help promote their new film, The Muppets, which hits theaters on November 23rd. In part one Piggy and Kermit meet Vickie Guerrero, Jack Swagger, Santino Marella, and Kelly Kelly, and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker interact with Sheamus and Christian. Part two, which you will find after the jump, includes Piggy talking with John Morrison and Hornswaggle, and appearances by Fozzie Bear and Gonzo, Animal, and Statler and Waldorf.
