Laura Vandervoort shows off her place

Laura VandervoortMost will recognize Laura Vandervoort from her role as Supergirl on Smallville or Lisa from ABC’s recent reboot of V. The Canadian actress’ career began at the age of 15 where she made guest-appearances on several TV-shows and starred in a series of TV-movies (including the humorously titled Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire). Recently Vandervoort allowed Esquire into her home for part of their Me in My Place series which provides “intimate moments with beautiful women in their own homes, in their own clothes, and at their invitation.” In the interview the actress discusses her life as a child actress, growing up as a tomboy and her dedication to martial arts, surviving a bout of meningitis when she was young, her obsession with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Kristy Swanson, and leaving Canada and moving to Los Angeles. Elle Showcases the Duality of Kristen Stewart

To help promote her new film Snow White and the Huntsman actress Kristen Stewart sat down with Elle Magazine’s Millea and a cover shoot with director Joe Zee and photographer Tom Munro playing on “the dual [male and female] characters, drawing inspiration from stylish trailblazer Loulou de La Falaise as well as Helmut Newton’s provocative photographs. In the interview Stewart discusses why she feels her life is boring, her first memory of her mother, her predilection for intense characters, on what it’s like to see herself on-screen. An Interview with the cast of Spring Breakers

For the May issue of Interview Magazine writer/director Harmony Korine and stars Selena Gomez,  James Franco, and Ashley Benson, sat down with talk with Jonathan Durbin about their film Spring Breakers which will open in theaters sometime early next year. Korine talks about the paparazzi’s interest in the film and the amount of buzz pics of the young female cast in brightly colored bikinis generated online and in the press. In the film Gomez, Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Rachel Korine star as college girls who find themselves in jail after attempting to rob a bank while on spring break only to be bailed out by a local drug dealer (Franco) who gives them a real lesson in crime.
