Created more as obstacles than people, I had forgotten how aggravating all the supporting characters of Percy Jackson and the Olympians could be whether they be friend or foe. Following the theme of the season in which various episodes highlight a single character, although his sexuality doesn’t become common knowledge, the drama behind Wheeler‘s (Patrick Fischler) impending divorce takes center stage and will even play into the murder of the week when the NIS Special Agent in Charge will have to decide whether or not to reveal an alibi given by a career military man, clearing him of the crime, puts him in violation of the uniform code. Mostly an excuse for Wheeler to lose hit shit in the office, the plot does offer a couple of strong scenes between Wheeler and Mary Jo (Tyla Abercrumbie) proving once again why she is the most indispensable member of the office.
