Hawaii Five-0 - Ka pa'ani nui television review

Hawaii Five-0 uses a staple of movie and television villains for it’s latest episode when the death of a young woman in a remote region of Hawaii leads them to suspect that a Nazi war criminal has been in hiding for 70 years. The B-story involves the unrelated homicide of a rich dickhole on the island looking to go shark hunting. While the evidence initially seems to point to the groups protecting sharks, the truth is actually quite the opposite.

Arrow - Second Chances television review

The search for a new Black Canary leads Ollie (Stephen Amell) and company to Hub City in search of a former police detective (Juliana Harkavy) who has become something of an urban legend since a failed undercover operation in Hub City left her partner dead and her with meta-human powers not unlike those of Black Siren. Even without his full personality or memories, Hunter is able to pit the villains against each other and make Merlyn and Darhk begin to question their ability to trust their partner. Beyond - Celeste television review

While other subplots involve Jeff (Jeff Pierre) attempting to recruit Tom (Michael McGrady) to help in his investigation, Luke (Jonathan Whitesell) getting expelled from college, and Willa (Dilan Gwyn) learning more of grandfather’s secrets involving her parents, the real focus of “Celeste” is to introduce Holden (Burkely Duffield) to Charlie (Eden Brolin). It’s obvious (at least to the audience) that Charlie can’t be trusted, but even through her charade you can see there is some genuine appreciation for Holden and the life her organization wants to rip him from.
