Glee - Wonder-ful

Children and their parents are a common theme in the show’s latest episode as Kurt (Chris Colfer) returns to Lima fearing the worst as his father (Mike O’Malley) gets his test results and Kitty (Becca Tobin) discovers Artie‘s (Kevin McHale) recent funk is caused by his fear to leave his mother (Katey Sagal) alone that is so strong it may quash his dreams to head to New York for film school. Meanwhile, the New Directions prepare for Regionals by performing the greatest hits of Stevie Wonder with the help of Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike Chang (Harry Shum Jr.) who return to help whip the New Directions into shape and offer Kurt their support.

When the mayor (Sebastian Spence) dies of an apparent surfing accident Shawn (James Roday), suspecting the man was murdered by the man’s replacement (John Kapelos) to push through land deal worth millions, decides to run for office to stop the city councilman from taking office before Shawn and Gus (Dulé Hill) can prove the man is a murderer. With the help of Gus and the former mayor’s assistant (Neil Grayston) Shawn begins a bizarre campaign that might actually win him the office leading Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) and Henry (Corbin Bernsen) to fear the worst for themselves and the city of Santa Barbara.

Bones - The Secret in the Siege

Bones‘ inconsistent Eighth Season comes to a close with the return of genius serial killer Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds) who has made Booth (David Boreanaz) the focus of his latest attacks by murdering agents close to him beginning with an old friend Pelant shot 11 times and left on display for Booth and Bones (Emily Deschanel) to find. Pelant’s second murder leaves a single witness (Sarah Stouffer) who describes a killer the team believes may be a survivor of a FBI raid of a cult a decade before. Sweets (John Francis Daley) also discovers Pelant is using the psychiatrist’s own published work to muddy the water and disguise his latest series of murders.
