During interrogation Nikita learns Ari is on the run hunted by Interpol and has left Amanda (Melinda Clarke) who has stolen his cash reserves to use for her own ends which include arming an angst-ridden “amateur psychopath” (Piter Marek) with weapons that will be traced back to Division and facilitating his terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.

After missing their chance to register for The History of Ice Cream the Study Group begins their European History class with the annoying Foosball-obsessed Germans (Chris DiamantopoulosAlex SchemmerAlex Klein) and taught by Greendale ‘s newest professor (Malcolm McDowell) who was fired from Cambridge after a “little slip-up with a coed,” and who challenges the class to examine history from the view of the vanquished as well as that of the victors. Although Abed (Danny Pudi) makes a friend when he realizes they’re both members of the same MMO guild, tensions rise when the Germans claim a piece of the study room for themselves and refuse to leave.

Tensions between Ranya (Connie Britton) and Teddy (Eric Close) continue to rise once Rayna discovers her soon-to-be ex-husband is spending his nights in Peggy’s (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) bed. Rayna breaks the news to her sister (Judith Hoag) only to discover that the tabloids are already running with the story and blaming the divorce on Rayna’s imagined affairs with Liam (Michiel Huisman) and Deacon (Charles Esten). After explaining the situation to her daughters (Lennon StellaMaisy Stella) Rayna’s people go into full PR mode. Meanwhile Juliette (Hayden Panettiere), with the help of her mother (Sylvia Jefferies) and assistant (Kourtney Hansen), works on throwing  a surprise birthday party for Deacon (which everyone tells her is a really bad idea).
