In the penultimate issue of the arc we see drastic actions by Bond, including his apparent resignation from MI6. Or do we? 007 #5 offers the twist you’ve been waiting for explaining both Bond’s endgame with Nassar and his role with helping Myrmidon (or not so much helping, but delivering them into the clutches of the authorities).
Along the way we’ll also get a desperate plea from Moneypenny that Bond not going off on his own. The closing moments of the issue following the twist set up the final issue in which the remaining Myrmidon operatives at large, including the one Bond believes killed Gwendolyn Gann, race towards a confrontation with the spy who just betrayed them. But are they hunting Bond, or is Bond hunting them?
