Atomic Robo & the Dawn of a New Era #3 offers the return of a fan favorite character (and just in the nick of time). While fighting off the Space Vampires in Los Alamos, Vikram and Lang receive unexpected help by the sudden arrival of Jenkins who apparently faked his own death and has been secretly waging war against the creatures. While he has been able to hold off the Space Vampire invasion now Jenkins needs help, but unfortunately Tesladyne isn’t what it used to be.
Bernard‘s underground excursion also leads him to discover a familiar face… er, rock person. It seams Princess Nequai has survived the madness of Dr. Dinosaur and now has plans for Bernard. For a series that didn’t have any immediate threat, it now looks like there are two.
The latest issue also offers more of Robo teaching his “son,” and Foley growing more confident (and sassy) in her role as mentor to the next generation of Action Scientists. Worth a look.
