Daredevil #7

Despite the tease that we might see Avengers involvement, there are no mighty heroes in Daredevil #7, instead Daredevil puts a handful of his recruits to good use in preventing police and a corrupt CEO from evicting families from their tenement. A large part of the comic also deals with Matt Murdock’s unwillingness to accept fate or destiny and not walk into what he fears is a trap laid by The Hand.

However, events at the end of the issue get away from Daredevil as he has no choice but to gather his army and strike and The Hand. The issue works more for set-up than actual events (although those do show how Murdock can put his litany of skills to use to do a little good in situations other heroes aren’t watching). Daredevil #7 also promises the inevitable confrontation we should finally see between Daredevil and the Punisher.
