Darth Vader #10

Darth Vader #10 comic reviewDarth Vader #10 continues the “Into the Fire” storyline of Darth Vader continuing to fight for his life. The end of the previous issue foreshadowed Vader’s journey to Exegol, the Dark Lord of the Sith won’t make it to the planet until the final panels as he faces a couple more challenges in a Summa-verminoth and a trio of Imperial Star Destroyers all intent on preventing Vader from reaching the planet.

Very much a middle issue of the arc, pushing any interesting reveals about Exegol to the next issue (at the earliest), Darth Vader #10 is an issue which you could skip over and not miss much. The issue isn’t bad, it features Vader’s impressive piloting skills (something Star Wars usually only showcases with Anakin prior to his fall to the Dark Side) and is notable some vivid hallucinations involving Vader and his son.

Ochi is still tagging along, although it’s still unclear what further purpose he has to play (other than witness to Vader’s accomplishments and eventually end up with a dagger).
