G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #303 is all about weaving Revanche into the main storyline and setting up a new partnership between the artificial intelligence and the mutated forces of Cobra led by Serpentor Khan. Despite past betrayals, the two forces come together with Revanche promising superior cyborg soldiers enhancing the mutated Cobra soldiers as well as a small force of Blue Ninja for another assignment.
G.I. JOE is reactive here, waiting to see what happens with Revanche and Cobra and refusing to tip their hand when the new cyborgs come to town to poke around. As for those Blue Ninja, they are an unpleasant surprise for Snake Eyes and Scarlett, who get some unwelcome guests at their cabin. While Cobra believes they have wiped out their targets, further cementing their new partnership, I’m pretty sure the two Joes have managed to pull a fast one and have managed to survive while letting the villains see exactly what they wanted.
