Breaking out of prison, Negaduck returns to St. Canard to take come up with a dastardly plan to take the city by storm. Things don’t go well. It turns out, coming up with an original criminal plan is actually harder than the super-villain expected as all other Darkwing Duck villains beat him to the punch on all of his “brilliant” ideas only riling up the villain even more.
Negaduck #1 is a fun first issue offering cameos from quite a few Darkwing Duck villains and showcasing an increasingly frustrated Negaduck who never even gets to put his plans into action. Not able to come up with a plan of his own, Negaduck steals one from Taurus Bulba, heading off as the comic comes to a close after a King Midas’ enchanted gauntlet which will give him the ability to turn any substance into gold. I’m sure this plan will go much smoother than all his others… okay, maybe not.
