Red Sonja: She-Devil with a Sword #1 proves solid enough opening to yet another relaunch of a Red Sonja title not shying away from the reasons poor serfs my turn to revolutionaries to improve their lives while also offering a couple of nice twists including a savvy Aretha being wary of Eaymon and the prince meeting an unexpected end. As for Sonja, it looks like she’s got herself a new quest where most of her enemies will be humans (for now).
