Spurred on by a nightmare and the need to find a protector for mutants, Storm sets off on a journey she does not expect to survive. Resurrection of Magneto #1 kicks off Storm’s journey to find the most famous mutant in history lost somewhere in the afterlife. While not knowing exactly where Magneto is, she does know two things. First, he needs her help. And second, facing their latest crisis, mutants need Magneto.
We get a few cameos here including both the Living Tribunal and Death in the Waiting Room set up for mutants who have fallen. Storm also has an altercation with Tarn and runs into a familiar face in her ancestor Ashake. From what we’ve seen so far, Storm’s path may not be a linear one. And even if she finds Magneto (c’mon, we know she’s going to find him), what has his time in these dimensions done to him? Does the Magneto she remembers even still exist?
