Transformers: King Grimlock #2

Transformers: King Grimlock #2 comic reviewGrimlock‘s time on the savage world of Menonia continues as Arko continues after the Dinobot hoping to convince him of her value and the importance of her people’s cause. By the end of the issue, Grimlock still has no interest in fighting of the Golden One. However, after getting a look at the necromonic Wood-Bot slaves of the Red Wizard, Grimlock does decide there is someone worth his time to kill.

Working a bit as both sidekick and guide, Arko gives someone for Grimlock to talk to while explaining a bit about the strange new world the Dinobot has found himself in. While, as Grimlock mentions, her help really isn’t necessary to deal with what attacks him, it does help prove the young woman’s bravery to Grimlock.

By the end of the issue, the two appear to part ways suggesting that Grimlock’s journey to destroying the Red Wizard will be a solo one. However, given the amount of pages Arko has taken up in the series so far, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of the warrior.
